For the past year or so I have also bought some beautiful educational toys and games from Mariette, the last one being a lovely wooden doll’s house and furniture for Yentl’s second birthday. It was while Mike and I were assembling the doll’s house furniture one evening that he suggested that I take over Mariette’s sales. I called her bright and early the next morning and the very same day I became a consultant for Play2Learn and Smile educational products!! And what a joy it has been so far! I have to admit that I page through my catalogues daily and take great pride in the high quality educational products that I get to sell! My wish list for my own children’s toy box is already as long as my arm!
I had a very good first month, far exceeding what I initially thought I would sell, and this month is even better, with two schools placing substantial orders. I also had a small exhibition at my friend Gina's house last weekend, with another one planned for Saturday. This time it is at my mum's house and I am very excited as quite a few people have shown an interest in attending. I'll let you know how it went over the weekend.
I am currently working on a another blog where I plan to feature some of the educational toys and games that I sell, as well as a weekly journal on 'tot' schooling Yentl. (We are busy learning colours and this week's colour is blue. But alas...as far as she is concerned, everything is "geel!" (Afrikaans for yellow). I've also started distributing an e-mail newsletter with monthly specials and information about my workshops, so e-mail me your request if you wish to receive it, too!
The children are napping and I have just under an hour to figure out Internet banking, so I bid you adieu and thank you for visisting!
